Street photography has always fascinated me. This form of photography is so unique, and it awakens things within me that no other form of art touches. Perhaps it’s because street photography can convey so much feeling, oftentimes through very little information. It is a subject matter that is familiar to nearly all, while at the same time comlex enough and ever-changing to render each photograph truly unique. It takes the time to highlight the romanticism present in a form of life that all too often is seen as mundane, repetitive, and even dreadful. There are plenty of frames of life that don’t feel beautiful, but the magic of street photography is that it’s able to pull the beauty out of chaos, the extraordinary out of the mundane, and emotion out of bleakness. It’s a reminder to us that beauty is more present that we realize, you just must learn to look for it.
